About Me

I’m Miguel Carretón, an illustrator based in Menorca.

I transform landscapes, architecture and memories into original illustrations created from photographs and drawings made by me.
My work seeks to preserve the essence of places and everyday moments through a Mediterranean, luminous and timeless perspective.

After studying graphic design in Valencia and working in Barcelona, I settled in Menorca in 2018, where I returned to illustration as the central focus of my artistic practice.

I have exhibited my work in a variety of venues, including Sala Xec Coll (Ciutadella), Ca’n Angel, Cas Contramaestre and Vesprades d’Art (Es Mercadal), Convent de Sant Diego (Alaior), and Gran Migjornale (Es Migjorn Gran).

I also create bespoke commissions inspired by memories, travels, houses and meaningful places.
