About Me

I’m Miguel Carretón, an illustrator based in Menorca.

I transform landscapes, architecture and memories into original illustrations created from photographs and drawings made by me.
My work seeks to preserve the essence of places and everyday moments through a Mediterranean, luminous and timeless perspective.

After studying graphic design in Valencia and working in Barcelona, I settled in Menorca in 2018, where I returned to illustration as the central focus of my artistic practice.

I have exhibited my work in various spaces, including Sala Xec Coll (Ciutadella), Cas Contramaestre (Fornells), Ca’n Angel and Vesprades d’Art (Es Mercadal), Convent de Sant Diego (Alaior), and Gran Migjornale (Es Migjorn Gran).

I also create bespoke commissions inspired by memories, travels, houses and meaningful places.
