About Me

I’m Miguel Carretón, an illustrator based in Menorca.

I transform landscapes, architecture and memories into original illustrations created from photographs and drawings made by me.
My work seeks to preserve the essence of places and everyday moments through a Mediterranean, luminous and timeless perspective. Mi trabajo busca conservar la esencia de lugares y momentos cotidianos a través de una mirada mediterránea, luminosa y atemporal.

After studying graphic design in Valencia and working in Barcelona, I settled in Menorca in 2018, where I returned to illustration as the central focus of my artistic practice.

My work has been exhibited in different spaces across the island, including Espai Xec Coll, Ca’n Angel, Vesprades d’Art and the Gran Migjornale.

I also create bespoke commissions inspired by memories, travels, houses and meaningful places.
